The MÁV Nosztalgia Kft as the subsidiary of the Hungarian State Railway Company was established with touristic purposes in 1992. Our main activity to organize train journeys in the countries of Europe and in the Middle East. The activity of the company was expanded at 1st of January 2009, when we launched our Cargo business branch. The MÁV Nosztalgia Kft is member of several Hungarian and International professional organization.

Thanks to the size, structure and expertise of our company we could ensure flexible solutions for different and special cargo exercises.

Directive 2004/49/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 on safety on the Community’s railways: Our Railway Safety Certificate, which was issued by Hungarian National Transport Authority confirms that our Safety Management System fit the requirements of the Directive.

The MÁV Nosztalgia Kft with its own vehicle fleet could fullfil the requirments of railway and motorway constructions in a flexible way.
