Pentecost at Cracow


MÁV Nostalgia organises an excursion to the scenic Cracow the treasury of Poland between 21 and 24 May 2010. During the comfortable trip our hostesses look after the guests and a guide informs them about the interesting places where the train rolls. Train composition includes a restaurant car. 

The programme day by day

Friday
Registration from 8 o’clock then boarding the train at Budapest Nyugati station. Train departs at 9 o’clock. Train can be joined at Miskolc-Tiszai station, too. Travel continues to Cracow via Kosice and Presov. Train arrives in Cracow in the late afternoon hours. Bus transfer is supplied to the hotel. After the occupation of the rooms the programme is free.


Saturday
After having breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant guests can discover Cracow individually or can choose from the optional programmes:

- Cracow guided sightseeing tour ( 9.00-14.00)
- Visiting Wieliczka Saltmine (15.30- 18.30)
- Dinner at the city

Accommodation is in Cracow hotel.


Sunday
After having breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant guests can discover Cracow individually or can choose from the optional programmes:
- Cracow guided sightseeing tour ( 9.00-14.00)
- Visiting concentration camp in Auschwitz (9.00-15.30)
- Excursion to Zakopane, rafting on River Dunajec (9.00-18.30)

Accommodation is in Cracow hotel.

Monday:
After having breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant a bus transfers the guests to Cracow station Train departs at 9.30 to Budapest. During the trip there is a few hours break at Kosice. Train arrives in Budapest at the early evening hours.


Participation fee:

Standard class: 57.000 HUF pp
Standard Plus Class: cca. 79.000 HUF pp
Premium Class: 135.000 HUF pp

The travel fee of the roundtrip ticket, the reservation fee, the accommodation and the transfer fees between the station and the accommodation in Cracow, 3 nights accommodation (including breakfast) in a 2 stars hotel (rooms with shower) and the Welcome drink in Budapest and Cracow

Premium class
The travel fee of the roundtrip ticket, the reservation fee, 2 lunches in the restaurant car, unlimited tea/coffee/mineral water during the railway travel, the accommodation and the transfer fees between the station and the accommodation in Cracow, 3 nights accommodation (including breakfast) in a 4 stars hotel (double rooms with shower). 



Standard class: Palace car with 4 seats sections (2 seats are next to the window and 2 next to the corridor) 
Standard Plus Class: 2 passengers in a 4 seats sections in a Palace car (All of the seats occupied for the 2 passenger) 


Premium Class: 2 passengers in a 4 seats sections in a Palace car (All of the seats occupied for the 2 passenger) During the trip refreshments and board magazines are served.

Optional programmes:

-Sightseeing tour in Cracow: (by bus and on foot, ship tour on River Wistula): 9990 HUF pp (Programme is kept at least number of 15 guests)
-Visiting Wieliczka Saltmine:  6990 HUF pp (Programme is kept at least number of 15 guests)
-Visiting concentration camp in Auschwitz: 13990 HUF pp (Programme is kept at least number of 10 guests)
-Excursion to Zakopane, rafting on River Dunajec: 21990 HUF pp (Programme is kept at least number of 10 guests)
