Our nostalgia train departs from Nyugati Train Station of Budapest heading the picturesque Danube Bend. You can travel in the most beautiful veteran carriages pulled by a steam engine. This way you can feel what it felt like travelling by train in the “Good Old Days”.
Train schedule: Departure from Nyugati Train Station: 9:40 a.m.
Arrival in Kismaros: 11:02 a.m.
Arrival in Nagymaros-Visegrád: 11:12 a.m.
Arrival in Szob: 11:39 a.m.
Returning from Szob: 4:00 p.m.
Arrival in Nagymaros-Visegrád: 4:22 p.m.
Arrival in Kismaros: 4:31 p.m.
Arrival at Nyugati Train Station in Budapest: 5:38 p.m.
Ticket prices: Adult (upholstered seat): one-way ticket: HUF 3200
return ticket: HUF 4200
Adult (wooden bench): one-way ticket: HUF 1900
return ticket: HUF 2900
Children between 4-14 years of age (upholstered seat): one-way ticket: HUF 1900 return ticket: HUF 2900
Children between 4-14 years of age (wooden bench): one-way ticket: HUF 990 return ticket: HUF 1290
Programme package Kismaros: HUF 6990 per capita (+HUF 1000 for upholstered seat)(The travel cost is included in the cost of the package.) We take the nostalgia train to Kismaros. During the journey we will be offered coffee by the staff in period dress. We take a short walk from the train station of Kismaros to the terminus of the Királyrét Forest Railway. We get the forest railway up to Királyrét. Passengers can also try the handcart track near the terminus featuring uphill and downhill sections. After that we have bacon frying on a camp fire.Free programme until the departure of the forest railway.This programme package costs HUF 5690 for children between 4-14 years of age. (+HUF 1000 for upholstered seat)
